Signet’s Sensorial Secrets

‘A fusion of unique and rare elements, and clouded in secrecy, Signet is the culmination of a lifetime’s experience,’ say Scottish distillers, Glenmorangie.
Of course, whilst only its creators know the exact secrets of its production, the packaging of Glenmorangie Signet has long been taken care of by IPL Packaging, who has again produced the Signet box, now in its third edition.
The result is a statement in sophistication; an elegant and tactile paper-wrapped black MDF box complete with an integrated paper hinge and magnetic closure.
The Signet edition takes it name from the ornate square design that adorns most Glenmorangie bottles. The signet itself originates from the Hilton of Cadboll Stone, a Pictish artefact that dates back to around the year 800 AD.
Featured prominently on the box front is therefore an electroformed ‘Signet’ decal mounted on an ABS frame, with this latest packaging solution also featuring an additional metalised plaque with gold debossed lettering.
Additional branding is featured in gold and grey foil stamping on the inner door and the reverse of the box, and featuring product and brand details. The striking graduated bottle is held securely in place by black foam fitments.
