Brugal 1888 Doblemente Añejado, a truly exceptional rum, crafted in the Dominican Republic now displays a renewed packaging solution in the form of a special, reusable gift box.

Created for those who want to savour and celebrate small and large moments whilst sipping this smooth and flavourful spirit, the pack, produced by IPL Packaging, transforms into a traditional lantern removing the bottle and inserting a candle in its place.

Bringing warmth and pleasure to moments of sharing, the design of this lantern, in black galvanised steel complete with a gold electroplated handle, features Brugal’s blue and gold colours on the printed belly band with UV printing, emboss and foil elements.

The lattice-like design of the lantern echoes the iconic mesh surrounding the bottle and gives it a characteristically Caribbean feel. This symbol also has its origins in the creation of the distillery when the first rum bottles were wrapped in a net to protect them during their travels.
