High Score – FIFA World Cup Replica Trophy Case

Certain luxury, high-design packaging solutions convey an unmistakable level of stature and honour. Themselves worthy of celebration, they ceremonialise perfectly the prized items contained within and help to leave an enduring impression.

Such is the case with the latest, ultra-premium pack, designed and engineered to house a 1kg, solid gold replica of the iconic, World Cup trophy, the black, wooden display case, of which just 50 have been made, commemorates the world’s most prestigious football tournament and the most widely-viewed single sporting event globally.

The exclusive pack is striking in its simplicity; the perfect foil for the keepsake it so proudly displays – a 1kg, solid gold replica of the FIFA World Cup trophy, depicting two human figures holding up the Earth.

Communicating quality at every touchpoint, the case is opened by means of a custom, gold twist latch closure on the front of the box which forms an attractive feature in itself.

Two gold, stainless-steel handles are located on either side of each door, with high-tech door runners allowing the doors to slide open from the centre smoothly and symmetrically, amplifying the impact of the reveal.

A gold, stainless-steel plaque located towards the inner base of the case features laser branding detail. All edging is finished in black matt varnish.

The inner back panel of the case is comprised of two layers – acrylic and black tempered glass – complete with gold electroform decals that depict Qatar WC 2022, soccer-related iconography, juxtaposed with bold geometric symbols. The trophy itself is snugly encased in an EVA fitment covered in an elegantly-stitched, rich, beige suede fabric.

The real FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy stands 36.8 centimetres high and weighs 6.1 kilograms (30,875 gold karats gold with bands of malachite on its base). The current holders of the trophy are France, winners of the 2018 World Cup and defending champions at the 2022 World Cup.

As per estimates, Qatar spent 200 billion US dollars on infrastructure projects that include the construction of stadiums, roads, hotels and so on. This will make the Qatar World Cup one of the most expensive World Cups in history.
