Packaging Milestones
The world of whiskey is one of tradition, craftsmanship, and innovation. For nearly two decades, Westward Whiskey has been at the forefront of this journey, pushing boundaries and reimagining what American whiskey can be. The Westward Whiskey Milestone Single Malt stands as a testament to this dedication.
Designed and created by IPL Packaging, the packaging solutions for the Milestone are crafted from paper-wrapped rigid board and feature elegant monochrome landscape illustrations on their outer surface, offset by copper foil brand detailing. This refined design element enhances the visual appeal and evokes a sense of timeless beauty and sophistication.
Each box has an angled, hinged door that immediately captures interest and curiosity, making the act of unveiling the whiskey a part of the experience. The boxes are elevated on an integrated plinth, facilitating an angled door opening and adding a sense of grandeur to the product.
The boxes showcase a copper metallic-wrapped inner frame. The use of copper not only adds a touch of luxury but also ties back to the copper stills that play a crucial role in whiskey making.
Ensuring that the bottle is both secure and beautifully presented, one box has a black EVA bottle fitment decorated with a UV-printed surface card, and another is without imagery, each with a recess specifically designed to hold the bottle securely. One box has a small additional recess containing a Westward-branded whiskey stone that, when placed in a glass, allows you to enjoy a cold dram without the whiskey losing any of its original flavor.
These packaging solutions for the Westward Whiskey Milestone are more than just containers; they are extensions of the whiskey itself, reflecting the legacy of Westward’s past and the promise of its future. This harmonious blend of exceptional whiskey and innovative packaging truly sets Westward Whiskey Milestone apart, making it a coveted masterpiece for collectors and connoisseurs alike.
