IPL25 – Chapter 2: The Art of Celebration

For IPL’s 25th anniversary, we’re collaborating with four remarkable artists, each contributing their distinct perspective and mastery to create something extraordinary.

Just as we partner with our clients to bring their visions to life, we’re now stepping into their shoes – becoming the client, the creator, and the curator all at once.

In this way, we’re honouring our remarkable quarter-century milestone: The Celebration of a Journey

We’ve carefully selected artists whose work resonates with our commitment to quality, innovation and meaningful storytelling. Their pieces will capture and celebrate different aspects of IPL’s 25-year legacy, presented in packaging designed by ourselves – creating a complete, immersive experience that honours both the art and our heritage.

Through this unique collaboration, we’re bridging the past and future of IPL, creating an expression of our journey – and recognition and appreciation to all those who’ve been a part of it.

Meet our collaborative partners:

Aimee Lindeque

Aimee’s intricate watercolour and acrylic paintings, ink drawings, murals, and illustrations capture the essence of daily life in a surreal and whimsical manner. Influenced by the works of Jean Giraud and Martin Handford, her art often presents a kaleidoscope of experiences, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of discovery and imagination. Aimee’s playful style can be described as a fusion of Hieronymus Bosch’s fantastical world and Where’s Wally’s clever puzzle-solving.

Claude Chandler

Claude is known for large abstract portraits created using a unique ‘stamp’ technique that explores the illusions of the digital self/avatar. With a focus on digital technologies and human perception, Chandler’s thought-provoking work invites viewers to question their own realities and the impact of technology on daily life. Through his art, Chandler bridges the gap between self and digital existence, offering insights into contemporary experiences.

Robyn Pretorius

Robyn Pretorius is a figurative portrait painter exploring multicultural themes through bold mixed media and realistic painting techniques. A Sunday Times cartoonist at 13, she fully embraced her art career in 2015. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Belgium, and South Africa, with residencies locally and abroad. Collaborating with FIFA, Ballantine’s Whiskey, Nando’s, South African Mint and Iziko Museums, Robyn’s vibrant art continues to navigate expressively between contemporary art and design.

Elzanne Louw

Elzanne’s work embodies a proactive and experimental approach to printmaking. Hailed as a ‘vigilante printmaker,’ she skilfully incorporates various mediums, including, relief, intaglio, litho, screen-printing, and photographic techniques, to create expressive pieces. A dedicated educator, she believes in the transformative power of visual literacy, viewing teaching as essential to her own creative development. A passion for art, craft, and design enriches her practice and fosters a nurturing environment for learning and innovation.
