From Wood to Wonder – with Arran Whisky
IPL Packaging has produced two striking solid wooden boxes for Isle of Arran Distillers, transforming natural materials into stunning showcases for Arran Single Malts.
The Wooden Frame Box
This open-front-and-back design displays the bottle in its full glory, front and back. The box features ink-filled laser etching, a shield-shaped gold plaque, and a removable top panel with a magnetic closure for easy access. The base includes a cut-out recess with an EVA fitment to secure the bottle.
The 25-Year-Old Wooden Box
Highlighting the natural beauty of wood, this box uses black and metallic ink-filled laser etching. Gold-toned hinges and magnets provide a smooth opening and closing experience. A slatted wooden inner face skillfully frames a velvet-lined EVA fitment, adding a touch of luxury.
Nature-Inspired Design
Both boxes feature Arran’s ripple-like design, illustrating the journey of the water source through six purifying mountain waterfalls, reflecting the meticulous process behind Arran whisky.
Tribute to Lochranza Eagles
The wooden frame box also depicts the eagles that have always been a special part of the Arran story in Lochranza. These majestic birds prompted a break in the construction of the distillery back in 1994 due to their nesting season. For the past 25 years, they have resided in the area, embodying the powerful, independent spirit that resonates with Arran’s own ethos.
