First Luxe Pack LA Show offers insights and inspiration

Packaging is an exciting and ever-evolving concept, which is why trade shows such as the West Coast’s first edition of Luxe Pack (7-8 February in Santa Monica, CA) are such valuable events.

The IPL Packaging team was pleased to experience the energy and ‘busyness’ that accompanied the publicity around the LA launch of the show. Says IPL’s Glen Broomberg, “As with Luxe Pack’s New York show, which we regularly attend, we found this show to be a truly great networking event; one that opened up interesting new possibilities for IPL whilst also allowing us exposure to a different clientele.”

It’s interesting to note the number of ‘technology oriented’ companies in attendance, and also too that a wider and wider audience is exploring packaging innovations.” He continues, “Though it was undoubtedly a busy event, the general atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the positioning of the IPL stand offered excellent opportunity for interaction and an ability to connect with new partners.”
Also, a first for Luxe Pack was the sharing of show platforms with MakeUp in Los Angeles, the leading stage for the beauty sector in trends and formulation.

The combination of the two separate shows sharing the same dates and location aimed to offer the best of both platforms and pulled this off very successfully indeed!
